D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Dawn Coming, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller at the second last hurdle.

H.E. Sexton, rider of Like An Ocean, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout but got worse in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the second last involving Arouet (FR), ridden by D. King, and Tex Amare (GER), ridden by D.E. Mullins, where it appeared contact was made between the two horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Brian Francis Cawley, trainer of In The Minus, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hopeful Hero, trained by T.Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

Michael Kenneally, rider of Inchiquin Star, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last hurdle.

T.Hogan, trainer of Hopeful Hero, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped dirty post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Sarah Joanna Connell, trainer, and A.P. Kelly, rider of Claude, in this race, where it appeared they did not comply with the parade ring protocols as set out in Regulation 16. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer. In his evidence A.P. Kelly stated he asked the trainer to take a turn and proceed straight to the exit as he wanted to get a good position at the start in order to make the running. Sarah Joanna Connell confirmed A.P. Kelly's evidence. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied A.P. Kelly was in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his clean record, they fined him €100. With regards to Sarah Joanna Connell, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the approach to the second last involving Bruant (GB), ridden by D. King, Dairy Force, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and Quint Major, ridden by D. Meyler, where it appeared things became tight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S. Foley, rider of Our Boy Bailey, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never moved with any fluency.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Our Boy Bailey, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from P. Twomey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Trean, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at The Curragh on the 26/06/26 when finishing 10th of 12. P. Twomey said his stable form was a bit in and out at the time and his horses were running much better now. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted it.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Filey Bay, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Expert Dancer (GB), ridden by S. Coen, Slight Of Foot (GB), ridden by D.W. O'Connor, Girl Bear, ridden by W.J. Lee, and Unfamiliar, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared Girl Bear and Unfamilier get tight on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Coen said he made his way across but felt he left enough room. D.W. O'Connor said he received a minor amount of pressure from his left. W.J. Lee and C.D. Hayes both said they had to check when getting pressure from their left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the dip involving Dancing Saxon, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, Expert Dancer (GB), ridden by S. Coen, and Templenoe, ridden by A.J. Slattery where it appeared Expert Dancer had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Browne McMonagle said Templenoe drifted out from the inside which caused the incident. S. Coen said he received a lot of pressure from his left. A.J. Slattery said his mount rolled left and right but that he kept straight once his mount was corrected. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Dancing Saxon, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hit from behind coming out of the dip.

S. Coen, rider of Expert Dancer (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered turning in.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Unfamiliar, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room after 100 yards.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the first bend involving Madbadanddangerous, ridden by C.T. Keane, Sharkeyboy (FR), ridden by W.J. Lee, Darius Dark, ridden by B.M. Coen, Admiral Will Brown (GB), ridden by W. Joyce, Vantage Code, ridden by W.M. Lordan, and Solas Na Gealai, ridden by N.G. McCullagh where it appeared several horses got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane, W.J. Lee, W. Joyce, W.M. Lordan, and N.G. McCullagh all said it got tight from the outside in however C.T. Keane also said the track layout from the stalls to the first bend didn't help the situation. B.M. Coen said he thought he was clear when coming across gradually. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards gave B.M. Coen the benefit of the doubt and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident coming out of the dip involving Themis, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, Ryefield Dasher, ridden by Nicola Burns, and Vantage Code, ridden by W.M. Lordan where it appeared Themis had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Browne McMonagle said he had to check after getting pressure from both sides. Nicola Burns said she kept her line around the bend. W.M. Lordan said he kept his line throughout the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards gave W.M. Lordan the benefit of the doubt and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the straight involving Ddakji, ridden by Mr B.T. Stone, and Sharbel, ridden by Mr F. Maguire where it appeared they made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. B.T. Stone said his horse was green and drifted left for a stride. Mr F. Maguire said his horse was very grean and leaned in when he got a bit intimidated. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Hill Silver, ridden by Mr D. McGill, Teofil, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, and Which Flannerys, ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. D. McGill said he got pressure from his left causing him to check. Mr. B. O'Neill said his horse drifted right but he did all he could to keep him straight. Mr. J.L. Gleeson said he received contact when Which Flannerys bumped him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. B. O'Neill was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. Mr. Joseph Collins recused himself from this enquiry.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Teofil, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Which Flannerys, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green and hung right in the straight.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. Con O'Mahony (Chairman), Mr. George McCourt, Mr. Joseph Collins, Mr. Anthony M. Ryan, Mr. L. Walsh.

For this race meeting the Raceday Stewards suspended the "starting procedures for tape starts" and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i).
